- 1). Parents should remember that problems in school often begin
- at home.

- Throughout my school days, I grew up expecting the term to
- end with physical abuse. Even an A was not good enough, as there
- was always something to offset it. My father's beatings never
- achieved the desired results with me or my brothers. We have
- made accomplishments, but the pain and anguish surface even
- today.
